Avengers Challenge

1. Favorite Avenger? Why?  The Hulk. I feel as if he has been severely under appreciated due to his lackluster movies, but he finally got a chance to shine! He has also just always been one of my favorite superheroes. He’s so unpredictable!

2. Least Favorite? Why? I’d have to say Hawkeye. Just because I feel as if his character wasn’t given enough time to really be fleshed out. He was badass in the end, but to me, he was just another Shield agent.

3. Favorite pre-Avengers individual movie? Controversial decision, I’d go with Iron Man 2. I know a lot of people don’t like this one, but I found it to be one of the most entertaining. I especially loved Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, he almost made up for the 10 second fight against Whiplash.

4. Which Avenger do you relate to the most? Why? Bruce Banner. He’s a very reserved nerd who just wants to stay out of everybody’s problems, but you better not mess with him haha.

5. Which Avenger do you find the most adorable? Cap, He gets so excited about relating to something in this new world. he just doesn’t seem to understand anything modern and I love that. “It seems to run on some kind of electricity!”

6. What Marvel character do you wish could be included? Why? I think it would have been awesome to see Spiderman join the fight, even as just a cameo, fighting some aliens in the background.

7. Are you disappointed they had to cut Steve’s reunion with Peggy? She’s still alive? I thought for sure she would be dead by now. I’m glad they didn’t go over the love interests too much, there’s no time for love, they have shit to avenge.

8. Do you believe Hawkeye and/or Black Widow should get individual movies now? For themselves? I don’t know. Now a SHIELD movie featuring Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, and Phil Coulson would be amazing.

9. Do you consider Phil Coulson a hero? Why or why not? He was one of the biggest heroes. He inspired the others to do what needed to be done. He believed in heroes when everybody else thought it was just a farfetched notion. He laid his life down fighting for what he believed in, and in the end, he didn’t question his motives or actions. He knew exactly what needed to be done and the sacrifice that was needed to do it. Not many other heroes would do the same.

10. Be honest, were you rooting more for The Avengers or Loki? Loki makes a great villain, but he was truly lost. Even if his ultimate goal was to lose so that he may later take Asgard (as some theories suggest), Thor was right. Throne would suit him ill. That was quite a bit to say when I could have just said I was rooting for the Avengers.
